Followings its joint HN2-S PROTOBLAST in 2022 and GEL-1090 series in 2021, Andersson Bell and ASICS now link up a third consecutive year for a trio of GEL-Sonoma 15-50 sneakers.
The third project was conceived as a technical sneaker optimized for trail running. Opting for a fresh new look, the iconic hiking-inspired lace webbing from past collaborations has been removed in favor of eyelet straps that span across the toe box. Uppers are found in a mix of mesh and heavy-duty fabrics that come together to form a robust and intricate assembly. Midsoles are scooped in a wave formation and rounding out the look are abrasion-resistant AHAR™ treaded outsoles.
Similar to past releases, the upcoming collaboration arrives in three new colorways which tell three distinct stories. While last year took inspiration from classic films, this year’s introductions venture into the mystical “Asics World,” a place far away full of peculiar plants and creatures. The “Black/Green” represents a curious sea monster named Frocto, the “Olive Oil/Dark Brown” iteration is inspired by the fictitious Connie Kayodi plant that produces feel-good liquids, and the “Bright Rose/Evergreen” colorway is pictured alongside petite Fissit-tattoos-fly creatures in the key art.
The third Andersson Bell x ASICS collection will begin to release worldwide on January 20 via the ASICS website and select retailers for £155 GBP (approximately $190 USD). Both men’s and women’s sizes are available.

Honestly, it’s not bad news.
Aha, now I see…I didn’t really understand the connection to the title itself…
Well 😇😇😇
